Holding and guiding the window for electrically and mechanically driven window lifter systems in the vehicle door.

The rail gliders developed and produced by us are installed in the vehicle door and serve as a connection between the side window and the window lifter unit.

The component realizes both the guiding and the actual movement of the vehicle window during the operation of the window lifter.

In order to be able to implement this application, our guide element includes an overmoulded threaded bush to fix the window glass, a receptacle for the clip to guide the vertical movement on the guide rail, a shock absorber unit for the end stop made of an overmoulded soft component and the receptacle for the window lifter rope pull.

The rail slider is manufactured in a highly automated 2 component inline injection moulding process, which includes assembly, conditioning, targeted greasing to minimise noise (spotting) and 100% dimensional control.
