Sponsoring: "A team for top performance"

Röttinger Volleyball-Damen mit ihren neuen Trikots

TSV Röttingen: The volleyball ladies from Röttingen could secure their third place in our competition and won 500 Euros for new jerseys. Coach Nadine Hofmann (back left) is team leader for accounts receivable at Wirthwein AG.

For some years now, instead of buying Christmas gifts for our customers we are using the amount for charitable purposes at our 22 sites worldwide. Over the past five years, we have been able to make almost 100,000 euros available for social purposes. This year, among other things, we held a competition for sports clubs. We would like to present the winners to you here.

In last year's employee newspaper, we invited our employees to take part in a competition: Under the motto "A team for top performance" the employees should shoot a creative video in their team. Whether this team is a sports club or a group of friends pursuing a mutual hobby was irrelevant. The important thing was to communicate the team spirit.

We then posted the submitted video clips on our Facebook page. The prize for the three videos with the most Likes was a donation of 500 Euros each for the purchase of new team clothing. Over a period of about a month, the clubs and groups were able to advertise their clips and thus boost the "Like" numbers under their videos.

Due to the great response, we decided, after evaluating the results, to also make 250 euros available to places four to six. Here is the overall result:

  1. FC Gollhofen Ladies - 300 Likes - Maria Maschek, Wirthwein AG
  2. Spinning Ladies Crimmitschau - 280 Likes - Heike Ahland, Wirthwein Crimmitschau
  3. TSV Röttingen Volleyball Ladies - 196 Likes - Nadine Hofmann, Wirthwein AG
  4. Wolfpack Bad Mergentheim - 154 Likes - Sven Weiner, Wirthwein Creglingen
  5. DJK SV Riedenheim F-Youth - 102 Likes - Stefan Mark, Wirthwein Creglingen
  6. SV Falkensee Finkenkrug B-Girls - 52 Likes - Jörg Hampel, Wirthwein Nauen

With the lucky winners we startet the realization and design of the sportswear. Four of the six teams could already be equipped with new clothes. With FC Gollhofen and Wolfpack Bad Mergentheim, we are still in the design and coordination phase, which we will soon complete.

We are very happy that so many teams took part in our competition and about the response of Facebook users. Congratulations to the six winners and lots of success and fun in the team!
